hmmmm...I'm guessing a mid grade to high performance silicon for the mold ?The graph I'm looking at measures in durability. Polytek is the name of the company.I'm sorry to sound so naive, but do you mean the cast or the resin type to duplicate the model itself is just urethane?Any particular brand or type you recommend? I apologize if this is a sensitive area for sculptors. Like I said,I'm new to the area.If so..do you happen to offer a dvd that gives all these details ? Thank you for such a quick response!!

I recognize some of your work from the Stan Winston page if I'm not mistaking!!I admire your work!!!After decades I'm finally listening to people about putting my work out and I was hoping to get some advice from you.Actually alot of advise.I sculpt with self drying clay or Chavant wax.I'm just now getting to the point where people want resin casts of my originals(which I will eventually post along with some sketches).I was hoping you could lead me in the right direction as in..what material do you prefer with making the mold, resin you use to replicate and even the materials you work with)nobody can ever give me exacts. As in company name ,Tinsil 50,60 0r 70 series, what casting method works best for you when casting upright characters? You know, details that are needed to get the job done. lol. I hope you're willing to help someone starting out with this information.I love your work.By the way...when you want to go public,do you advise sending your work to companies to see if they want to buy your work or do you recommend simply creating your own page?I know how much busts and statues go for....but I honestly wouldn't know the 1st thing about what is a fair or unfair offer if somebody(Marvel, sideshow,Bowen,Dc,ect)where to actually be interested in my work.I hope you're willing to give advice.Hope to hear back from you soon.:)

This would be even more badass if it was Glen, Boris and Chaney.
